Meitheal :
Preparing leaders for the next phase of constitutional leadership
Meitheal is a small, selective leadership initiative for people who intend to play a serious role in advancing constitutional change in Ireland.
It is not about mobilisation or messaging at volume.
It is about judgment, discipline, and credibility when decisions matter.

What Meitheal Does
Meitheal prepares participants to operate effectively inside the realities of constitutional politics — where outcomes depend on mechanics, trust, and restraint, not noise.
The programme is built around four core capabilities:

How We Win
A clear understanding of how constitutional change and electoral outcomes actually occur — including PR-STV mechanics, transfers, coalition appeal, and why movements lose ground by misunderstanding systems.

Communication & Credibility
Practising message discipline and clarity beyond the already-convinced, with a focus on trust, relevance, and durability rather than applause.

Leadership Under Scrutiny
Testing judgment in adversarial and high-pressure scenarios where mistakes travel fast and legitimacy is easily lost.
Digital & AI Literacy
Using digital and AI tools ethically to support research, reflection, and message discipline — not to replace thinking or simulate support.

Who It Is For
Meitheal is for organisers, communicators, and civic leaders who:
-
take unity seriously as a long-term project
-
want to be trusted beyond their own base
-
understand that credibility is earned, not claimed
Selection is deliberate. Visibility is not the criterion.
